Treasurer Stacy Garrity Encourages Residents of Southeastern Pennsylvania to Unwrap Unclaimed Property this Holiday Season

Harrisburg, PA - Treasurer Stacy Garrity is kicking off the holiday season by bringing a series of unclaimed property events to communities across Southeastern Pennsylvania. With more than $1 billion in unclaimed property waiting to be claimed in the region, residents are invited to “unwrap” money that may be theirs—just in time for holiday gatherings.

“Uncovering unclaimed property is like stumbling upon a hidden treasure. We’re excited to partner with local officials to simplify the process for residents to claim what is rightfully theirs! There’s no better time than the holidays to reclaim what’s yours.”

Pennsylvania State Treasurer Stacy Garrity

Treasury staff will help individuals search for unclaimed property, file claims, and possibly walk away with a little extra holiday joy.
