Forty Fort, PA - Treasury Stacy Garrity and state Senator Lisa Baker (R-20) today visited the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association to celebrate the PA ABLE Savings Program surpassing $125 million in assets, a major program milestone. PA ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) accounts help Pennsylvanians with disabilities and their families to save for disability-related expenses without impacting important benefits.

Harrisburg, PA - Treasurer Stacy Garrity today announced that the Pennsylvania Treasury Department’s initiative to return unclaimed military decorations is now featured on MissingMoney.com, a national database where individuals can easily search for unclaimed property in almost every state. MissingMoney.com is maintained by the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators.

Mayport, PA - Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity toured Shirey Dairy Farm yesterday to discuss the importance of agriculture and land preservation in Pennsylvania – and to thank the Armstrong Conservation District for being a participant in Treasury’s INVEST program. The farm, a third-generation family operation, includes nearly 170 acres of land that is preserved by the conservation district.

Washington - Reps. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) and Don Beyer (VA-08), members of the Ways and Means Committee, announce jointly-introducing the Ensuring Nationwide Access to Better Life Experience (ENABLE) Act (H.R. 9614). This legislation helps individuals with disabilities save for their futures by permanently extending three provisions of the tax code which expire in 2025.
