Harrisburg, PA – Pennsylvania Treasurer Joe Torsella today warned Pennsylvanians about a telephone scam in which scammers are posing as Treasury employees and threatening with arrest if unpaid taxes are not paid immediately. These fraudulent calls are coming from telephone numbers that appear to belong to the Pennsylvania Treasury.
Harrisburg, PA – Pennsylvania Treasurer Joe Torsella announced today that Treasury holds $214,000 worth of unclaimed property for nearly 2000 “lucky” individuals and organizations with Irish-related names or titles. Of the claims, Treasury found 22 Irish cultural foundations, dance schools, and religious organizations were entitled to properties totaling $8,200 in value.
